LOCTITE 542 is designed for sealing and locking metal ducts and connectors as well as for other assemblies of cylindrical metal parts. The product polymerises when it is confined in the absence of air between metal surfaces with low play. It has for function to prevent drying out and leaks due to impacts and vibrations. The thixotropic nature of LOCTITE 542 prevents the product from migrating the product after application on the parts.
