Why has Hydrokit developed a 4th point?
Hydrokit improves and brings solutions on existing agricultural equipment. These simple solutions bring comfort, performance and safety.
The planting of crops is now very varied, requiring more and more precision in the mechanised interventions from the soil preparation to the harvest. Hydrokit offers you a manual, GPS or camera control system to guide your tractor.
Left-right travel is achieved by moving the lower links. This is done by removing the existing stabilisers and replacing them with a 4-point linkage. The latter is attached to the coupled implement from the trumpet.
The 4th point hydraulic hitch on tractors is patented by Hydrokit.
Technical specifications
The principle is based on a deformation of the current 3-point linkage. The kit includes a fitting to be installed on the tractor's trumpet and another on the implement. A bar with a so-called 4th point cylinder links the two fittings together. When the cylinder is operated, the assembly moves the implement to the right or left..
Before : Use on the slope with a classic interface.
After : Using the 4PTH with the parabolic effect of the hitch, the implement remains parallel to the crop.

Weeder Pilot camera
The Weeder Pilot camera guides the weeder with precision thanks to the analysis of the entire colour spectrum. With Weeder Pilot, hoeing can be entrusted to a novice operator because the task is made easier.
Thanks to our image analysis technology, the Weeder Pilot distinguishes the crop from the soil. The discriminated crop colours range from purple or red including all intermediate shades of blue, green and yellow. Thus, Weeder Pilot can distinguish the crop from a dense carpet of weeds when the green of the latter is different from that of the crop. A large, easy-to-read screen allows the user to access all the operating indicators while watching the crop scroll.
Weeder Pilot Probes
The sensors associated with the Weeder Pilot guide the weeder with precision thanks to highly sensitive "whiskers.
They are suitable for hoeing crops with erect stalks, such as maize, sunflower and sorghum, as long as the stalk is strong enough to press on the whiskers. Maize can thus be handled by the sensors from the 6-leaf stage.
The spring preload adjustment allows the sensitivity of the whiskers to be precisely adjusted.
They allow fast working speeds with immediate correction of trajectory deviations.
The functions of the Weeder Pilot such as headland centring, guide bar and video feedback remain active when using the sensors.

This guidance system allows you to hoe a developed crop (e.g. 5-6 leaf maize) using 2 sensors located on 2 elements of the hoe.
This box is equipped with an automatic re-centring function in the high position (On/Off sensor on the 3pts supplied with attachment) to realign the hoeing machine with the tractor. It is also fitted with a visual indicator to show the lateral position of the tool (sensor integrated into the 4PTH cylinder).
It has a manual control that can be used either as a back-up for the sensors or as a manual control for initial hoeing without the sensors.
